Blightfall

The Blight has swallowed the lowlands. Your Keep is the last light in the valley.

Blightfall is a real-time colony survival game for 1 or 2 players. Build a settlement, feed and house your people, raise walls and towers, and train an army. Then survive while a horde of thousands crawls toward you, every corpse it leaves behind ready to rise again.

Build by day, hold the walls by night

- Place Tents for workers and gold, Farmsteads that fish, hunt or farm depending on the land, Sawmills and Quarries for materials.

- Spread your territory with Ley Pylons and seal the valley with Palisades and Gates that let your soldiers through but never the dead.

- Garrison Crossbowmen in Watchtowers to give them extra range behind the wall.

- Research upgrades in the Keep as your colony grows.

Command an army and a hero

- Classic RTS controls: drag select, right click to move and attack, attack-move, Shift queues, control groups, rally points.

- Raise a hero at the Altar and cast spells to break a wave when the wall starts to crack.

One breach can end everything

- The dead spread. A single zombie inside your walls can turn a whole district.

- Blighted Villages hold loot, but clearing them wakes everything inside.

- Waves grow every day until the final assault.

Play together

- Three-player co-op over Steam (invite a friend from your friends list) or LAN.

- Both players share one colony and one Keep. You win together or fall together.

Modes

- Chapter 1: The Valley of Embers. Hold a narrow valley for 8 days while the dead come from both ends.

- Survival. A large open map and 100 days.

- Horde Rush. No waiting, just the horde.

Pre-alpha: the art is placeholder geometry and the balance changes every week. Feedback is very welcome in the comments.

Requirements: Windows 10/11 (64-bit). For Steam co-op, both players need Steam running.
